The #Synergy Festival Tour Wraps Up: Celebrating Contemporary Classical Music

After an incredible 18 days, the #Synergy Festival Tour has come to an end. This tour, recognized as the grand culmination of the #Synergy project, succeeded in bringing contemporary classical music closer to audiences across the region.

Throughout the tour, from July 16 to August 2, thirteen concerts were performed at seven different festivals and musical events, including the KotorArt Festival in Montenegro, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival in Croatia, the Belgrade Festival in Serbia, the Ljubljana Festival in Slovenia, the Vox Baroque Festival in Albania, the ChopinPianoFEST Prishtina in Kosovo, and a special concert hosted by the Cultural Centre Trebinje in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Each of these concerts featured twelve unique compositions, specially composed for the project by young and talented composers: Ardian Halimi (On the Edge of Silence), Helena Skljarov (Ljubljana), Jetmir Zaganjori (Anosmia), Kreshnik Alickaj (Pianistic Quartet), Kris Sopiqoti (Noise), Matija Krečić (Big Ship Full of Joy and Crap), Milivoje Pićurić, Mira Milosavljević (Conversation Within), Nina Perović (Encounters), Predrag Radisavljević (Kulshedra), Timotej Kosovinc (Unheard Story), and Tomislav Oliver Korbe.

These compositions were performed by selected young emerging musicians from the region, including Alenka Bogataj, Andi Duraku, Andrijana Durmišević, Arian Zherka, Cristina Basili, Dušan Obrenović, Egli Prifti, Entela Qarkagjija, Leufat Buquku, Magdalena Burhan, Marija Božić, Marija Ticl, Martina Jembrišak, Milena Petković, Miljana Nikolić, Teodora Uskoković, Tereza Horakova, Tim Jančar, and Timotej Kosovinc.

Audience reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, and critics have praised the performances of the musicians and the originality of the compositions, confirming that this tour has left its mark on the music scene, fostering cultural exchange and collaboration among different regions.
